Sony Alpha DSLR-A100K Review - CNET Asia

Sony’s entry into the digital SLR market was likely a calculated move. Though the Sony Alpha DSLR-A100K is currently its only dSLR, and an entry-level one at that, the company is clearly signaling to others that it’s serious about the digital photography segment. Based on the Alpha mount, the Alpha 100 is compatible with all past Konica Minolta lenses while Sony has 21 new glasses to complement its maiden unit.

The entry-level Alpha 100 is designed for enthusiasts who want to jump onto the digital SLR bandwagon for the first time without feeling overwhelmed.
