Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II Review - photo-i

Canon EOS-1Ds Mark IIThe Canon EOS 1DS Mark II is a superb, highly specified camera that redefines not just the technological progress that’s been made in digital photography, but also the role of the photographer.

The Canon EOS 1DS Mark II is a sophisticated and complex camera – it’s like a computer and laboratory attached to a lens. Over-specified? For some, maybe, but I feel it represents a milestone in the development of digital cameras and for that matter photography on the whole. It’s going to be exciting to see where manufacturers take it from here but Canon is definitely leading the way.
