Samsung NV10 Review - CNET

Oct 04, 2007 | Category: Samsung NV10

Despite some notable flaws, photos taken on the Samsung NV10 generally look good. Pictures appear crisp and full of detail, with vivid color reproduction. Fine textures such as fur, fabric, and text come out very clearly, with few artifacts.

Noise stays manageable at low sensitivity levels, though shots taken at ISO 400 develop a distinct grain that can be easily seen on computer monitors and is accompanied by a minor loss of fine detail. At ISO 800 and above, that grain becomes a prominent fuzz that obscures fine details and muddles colors. Fringing also tended to find its way into some photos, with pinkish auras developing on nearly every contrasting edge.

Samsung NV11 Review - CNET

Oct 04, 2007 | Category: Samsung NV11

With some very nice photos and full manual exposure controls, the Samsung NV11 seems like a decent choice for amateur photographers who want to learn the art, or for dSLR owners who want a reasonably compact second camera.

The camera doesn’t shoot as fast as we would have liked, though, and its Smart Touch control scheme is definitely an acquired taste. Try out this camera for a bit before you commit to it, if only to find out if its touch sensor controls are right for you.

Samsung NV20 Review - Pocketlint

Oct 01, 2007 | Category: Samsung NV20

Only with a rating of just 5 out of 10 - Overall we weren’t that impressed by the Samsung NV20, it might look good, but in use its awkward, gimmicky and worse of all the images aren’t great.

Like the NV10 before it’s Nice looks don’t cover up its failings, and it’s a shame to see Samsung hasn’t learnt from its mistakes first time around.

Samsung S1050 Review - Steves Digicams

Sep 14, 2007 | Category: Samsung S1050

The Samsung S1050 is a nice 10-megapixel digital package. With great image quality, average performance, and loads of useful features, I feel the S1050 will make a great choice for anyone who is in the market for a well rounded, compact and versatile digicam.

Samsung NV3 Review - ThinkCamera Reviews

Oct 21, 2006 | Category: Samsung NV3

From a multi-function point of view the Samsung NV3 performs quite well, the video and music modes working better than other PMPs I’ve seen and the LCD and speakers being up to the job.

However as a camera the NV3 is lacking. The sensor seems to be inadequate for a £225 7.2 MP camera these days and the noise reduction techniques may keep some photos from being brilliant. Still, if you were using the whole package of features as intended and you were only going to use the photos for the web then it would be worth a look - especially if style is important.
