Concord Eye-Q 4360Z Review - CNET Reviews

Feb 11, 2005 | Category: Concord Eye-Q 4360Z

Concord Eye-Q 4360ZThere are things to like about the value-priced Concord Eye-Q 4360Z, but stellar image quality and blazing performance are not on the list. If you’re patient enough to wait awhile between shots, don’t plan on making large prints, and can live without full-resolution burst mode, Concord can put you behind the viewfinder of an acceptable 4-megapixel snapshot camera for a reasonably low price. This Eye-Q does offer a good selection of scene modes, including Fireworks, Night Landscape, Party/Indoor, Beach/Snow, Sunset, and Night Portrait. There’s neither a sports nor an action scene option, even though the automatic shutter speeds operate at 4 seconds to 1/2,500 second. ISO is set automatically at values of 100 to 400.

Contax SL300R T* Review - CNET Reviews

Feb 03, 2005 | Category: Contax SL300R T*

Contax SL300R T*The Contax logo and the leatherette panels on the SL300R T*’s body and the Carl Zeiss name applied to the lens may attract upscale buyers, but digital-camera aficionados will snap to attention over this 3-megapixel camera’s high-speed burst mode. It can capture full-resolution photos at three to four frames per second for as long as the action, your memory card, and your trigger finger hold out. If you want to shoot a few hundred photos in less than 60 seconds with a pocket camera that’s thinner than a deck of cards, this one’s for you.

BenQ DC E40 Review - DigiCamReview

Jan 31, 2005 | Category: BenQ DC E40

BenQ DC E40The BenQ DC E40 is a compact 4 megapixel digital camera with a 1.5″ touch-screen. The camera records unlimited length videos with sound. The camera is easy to use, but produces average images with high noise, low detail, and slightly dark images. The camera’s touch screen is an interesting idea, but poorly executed with a small screen. For around £100 (UK) this camera offers good value for money, and is quite unique in having a touch screen that could be quite fun, but the camera could definitely be much better.

Contax U4R Review - Pocket-lint

Jan 24, 2005 | Category: Contax U4R

Contax U4ROverall the Contax U4R is a disappointment. It’s rare that a digital camera takes consistently poor pictures in all situations, but the Contax manages this amazing feat. Any basic aesthetics are ruined by the leather trim, that makes me feel if the camera were alive it would a don a medallion and chat up my mother. Further enfeebling the overall image is the USB 2.0 plastic docking station that the U4R sits into to download the images, but ugly though it, at least the docking station works.
