Casio Exilim EX-S100 Review - DigiCamReview

Jun 12, 2005 | Category: Casio Exilim EX-S100

Casio Exilim EX-S100There is a lotto like about this camera, and very little to dislike! There are so many options and features it puts other well known brands to shame! The CASIO Exilim EX-S100 is an ultra compact, pocketable, take anywhere camera, one of the world’s smallest. It’s very quick and fun to use, and produces very pleasing results. The camera is very stylish and tough and features far more controls than other ultra compact cameras, allowing you to be more creative, and customise the camera to your own personal style and preferences. The camera is very easy to use for beginners, with numerous scene modes, auto macro-mode and easy to use play / photo buttons. This camera would suit beginners with the easy to use docking station - and would suit more advanced photographers looking for a ultra compact take anywhere camera - this is definitely a camera I’m going to be keeping for a long time.

Casio Exilim EX-S100 Review - KenRockwell

May 23, 2005 | Category: Casio Exilim EX-S100

Casio Exilim EX-S100This Casio Exilim EX-S100, cute little $250 (as of May 2005) Casio credit-card style camera is the best thought out, fastest and easiest to use compact digital camera with more salient features critical to serious photography than any other compact digital camera I’ve ever used.

Unlike the big brands more familiar to us photographers, it seems Casio actually had someone who knew about photography design the camera. It amazes me with its fast and fluid operation so critical for serious photography. Contrast this with Nikon point-and-shoots on which I can’t sometimes find even the most basic controls. This Casio is so well thought out and works so well it now makes me much less tolerant of the sloppy menus and operation of other brands of cameras. Too bad Casio makes no DSLRs.

Casio Exilim EX-S100 Review - Megapixel.net

Apr 20, 2005 | Category: Casio Exilim EX-S100

Casio Exilim EX-S100Sleek and diminutive, the Casio Exilim EX-S100 is one of a handful of ultra slim zoom cameras. Offering a 3.2 megapixel resolution and a 2.8X optical zoom that folds neatly into a space less than 1.42 cm (0.56 inch), the EX-S100 is a camera that can literally be carried anywhere. The Casio EX-S100 is entirely metal-clad, and even its external controls have a metallic surface. On the front, the design provides for the flash, and a microphone which is behind a tiny hole near the lower left of the lens trim. And, when retracted, the lens is flush to the front surface and its front element is covered by a metal shutter.

Casio Exilim EX-S100 Review - PhotographyBLOG

Feb 28, 2005 | Category: Casio Exilim EX-S100

Casio Exilim EX-S100The Casio Exilim Card EX-S100 is a 3 megapixel digital camera with a 2.8x optical zoom lens that offers a focal length of 36-102mm and a large 2-inch LCD screen. On paper at least. In reality it is a super-compact, super-thin digicam that really has to be seen to be believed. Casio’s Exilim Card range of digital cameras has long been known for delivering incredibly small and slim models that are little bigger than a credit card. The Casio Exilim Card EX-S100 is no different with dimensions of 88mm (W) x 57mm (H) x 16.7mm (D) and weighing just 113g without the battery and storage card fitted. All of this is housed in a stylish and hard-wearing metal casing.
