DC Views wrote an excellent side-by-side comparison in ‘Review: Sony Cybershot DSC H1 compared to Canon Powershot S2 IS’: The Sony Cybershot DSC H1 and the Canon Powershot S2 IS are almost equal. Apart from the same specifications, both cameras almost perform at the same level. Nevertheless the Powershot is the winner in this test because of it’s somewhat higher responsiveness and much higher frame rate in continuous mode.

Casio Exilim EX-S500 Review - Ken Rockwell
The EX-S500 is a 5MP, 3x optical zoom camera that’s probably the smallest digital zoom camera in existence along with the EX-S100.
The new EX-S500 comes painted in dark gray silver painted metallic, white or orange. I prefer the gray metallic. I would really prefer black, but that’s not an option. The gray paint is an improvement over the slippery stainless steel of the earlier EX-S100.
Konica Minolta DiMAGE X60 Review - DCRP
The Konica Minolta DiMAGE X60 ($350) is the latest revision of the DiMAGE X-series of cameras. Like the X50 before it, the X60 features a 5 Megapixel CCD, folding lens technology, point-and-shoot operation, and a fast startup time. Changes since that model include the addition of 15MB of internal memory, a slightly more powerful zoom lens (3X versus 2.8X), a larger LCD display (2.5″ versus 2.0″), and a slightly different design. The optical viewfinder was eliminated on the DiMAGE X60.
